Q: Do you have a video and overview that explains
your business Opportunity?
A:Yes. You can view a video presentation of “The International
World of Vacations Business Opportunity.”

watch our VIDEO and discover how the IWV Business Opportunity
can change your life!
You can also go to the Business Opportunity area
of our website for a brief overview.
Q: Will I be able to compete with Internet travel companies?
A:
Yes. We hear about our competitive advantage from our home-based
agents all the time. Technology and the Internet have made selling travel from home
easy and profitable. In addition to our IWV technology, we have teamed up with Travel
Solutions (7th largest travel company in the U.S.) to provide unprecedented around
the clock travel fulfillment and customer service. Our prices are competitive, but
we encourage our home-based agents to sell themselves and their service as opposed
to price.
You will have some clients that prefer to book their own travel online. They can
now do that from “your” website and you get paid every time they
book travel. Click to watch an independent newscast comparing a travel booking made
by a Travel Agent vs. a booking made by a Web Internet Travel Company.
Q: What does an IR do?

Previous Endorsement: “International World of Vacations has been endorsed by The
Small Business Journal as one of the top-5 best business opportunities in the country
today".
Q: What kind
of people are IWV’s Independent Representatives (IRs)?
A: Our IRs can be new to the travel industry or experienced travel
professionals. They come from all walks of life including professionals, entrepreneurs,
business owners, stay-at-home moms, teachers, retirees and people in freelance occupations
such as writers and photographers. Many work as IRs full time and many work part
time to supplement their income.
Thinking about starting your own business? What are your options?
Q: Are IWV Independent Representatives (IRs) employees
of the company?
A: No. IWV Independent Representatives are independent contractors
who own their own businesses and are not employees of the company.
Q: Is it expensive to start an International World of Vacations
(IWV) business?
A: No. In fact, only a small fee is required to become the CEO
of your own company and an IWV Independent Representative (IR) and business owner.
How to Join and Become the CEO of Your Own
Business
Q: How do I find International World of Vacations Abbreviations,
Terms and Definitions?
A: Click on this link for a complete listing of our
Abbreviations, Terms and Definitions.
Q: Can I join your program if I live outside of the United
States?
A: Currently, IWV's Independent Representatives can participate
in our program if they live either in the United Sates or Canada. We have plans
to take our program globally and will keep you advised as we move in that direction.
Q: Can I work as an Independent Representative (IR) part-time
and still keep my present job?
A: Yes, many of our IRs work from their homes on a part-time basis.
If you choose to work part-time and retain your full-time job, this may enable you
to make additional contacts for selling Travel Vacations.
Q: Is this a multi-level marketing program or an illegal
pyramid scheme?
A: No. This model is generally referred to as Dynamic Marketing
or as a Formalized Referral System (FRS) marketing program and goes down only one
level.
You are not paid a fee to bring someone into the IWV System.
You are only paid on your own personal productivity and the productivity of others
that you, as a Team Leader, recruit for your Team. If someone you recruit brings
in new members, they become a Team Leader and they will be rewarded from the efforts
of their team members, not you. Many experts have stated that this type of compensation
program can be one of the most successful ways to earn money, as explained in “One Way to Wealth” located on the IWV website. IWV has a simple ”Two-Steps to Success”
compensation program. For more information please go to:
Business Opportunity or Pyramid Scheme.
Q: Is there a maximum number of Independent Representatives
(IRs) I can introduce into the IWV Sales Program?
A: No, we encourage you to introduce the IWV system to as many
friends, relatives and business associates as you can. Anyone who either purchases
travel or who would want to become a part of our tremendous business opportunity
means potential income for you. The larger your team's volume of sales, the more
RESIDUAL INCOME you and your team will earn in Team Bonus commissions and Vacation
Credits.
Q: Am I able to get any travel benefit cards?
A: Not from IWV. To uphold the ethical standards of the travel
industry, we will never be involved with the proven ineffective “Card Mills” you
see advertised. Instead, our unique “Vacation Credit Bonus Program” will give you
the best opportunities to earn vacations. This means no standby or last minute bookings;
you can plan your vacation far in advance. No other home-based travel company offers
this opportunity. Please see “Vacation Credits” outlined below in this FAQs document.
Q: Do I need a Fax Machine?
A: You will need access to a fax machine from time to time (many
office stores offer this service), but you are not required to own a fax machine.
You also may choose to used an internet-based fax service.
Q: What type of computer and software do
I need?
A: The minimum requirements are a Pentium PC with a sound card,
16 MB RAM, 28.8 Baud modem, and a CD-ROM drive. In addition, you will need a local
connection to the Internet, preferably a high-speed cable connection. Our program
supports the latest web browsers, which support cookies. No software will be installed
on your computer.
Q: Can I use any Internet Service Provider
(ISP) for my connection to the www.iwvnet.com site?
A: You can use any ISP you prefer, with any modern web browser.
There are no restrictions on how you connect to the www.iwvnet.com site. Your browser
must be able to support cookies, and you must maintain a valid e-mail account. It
is that simple.
Q: How long does it take to get my business started?
A:Upon joining IWV and once your payment has been processed, you
can immediately use our name and begin marketing travel programs from the IWV website.
Training on the use of the website and on our vendors will be provided on an ongoing
basis. Everyone wants to travel and take vacations. And, since our industry offers
a lot of sizzle and glamour, your potential clients will be very receptive to our
program. IWV is a solid Company that you can be proud to represent!
Q: I want to accept Credit Cards. Can you help?
A:Absolutely! IWV will provide you with everything you need to
get your IWV online business up and running -- and accepting credit cards is crucial
to your online success. You will be able to accept your clients’ credit cards and
run them directly through IWV or one of our affiliates.
Q: Do I need a business license or tax ID number?
A:Check with your local government office to determine what is
required within your county or state. A Tax ID Number is recommended in order to
receive the benefits of owning your own business. Check with your accountant or
CPA for his/her advice in this area.
Q: How do I get brochures to give to clients?
A: All the information you need to sell Vacation Packages will
be available on your IWV website, and can be forwarded to your clients by e-mail.
Therefore, there will be no need to mail expensive brochures. Everything can be
done electronically. However, if you choose, you can order brochures from our individual
suppliers.
Q: How should I set up my home office?
A:If at all possible you should have a separate room or area designated
for your home-based travel business. Filing cabinets and shelves nearby to keep
you organized may be helpful. In order to effectively operate your business, you
need to have a personal computer, Internet connection (please see computer and Internet
requirements), fax machine, and a separate phone line for your business. The more
office-like the atmosphere with no outside interruptions, such as those you might
encounter in the family room, the more successful your business will be.
Q: Do I have to purchase any travel vacation inventory?
A:No. One of the many great things about our program is that you
DO NOT have to purchase ANY inventory! In some cases, IWV will purchase inventory
in advance to secure the availability of a high-demand product. Outside of this
scenario, what you sell will be based on space available when the booking is made.
Q: Can I market online?
A:Yes! You will have your own website that can be customized with
the products you want to sell! That is one of the benefits of being an Independent
Representative with IWV. Start collecting the e-mail addresses of your customers
and you can give them access to your personal website. You will be fully trained
on how to use this valuable tool.
Q: What product or service should I sell?
A: That's the big question! Don't try to sell everything to everybody.
IWV works with leading travel industry suppliers, so you can offer your clients
the most popular destinations at very reasonable prices. The one thing that almost
all successful small and home-based Internet businesses have in common is that they
target a niche market. Focus your energy on a travel destination that you are passionate
about, or one you have experienced first hand through our Vacation Credit program.
Learn about and sell what there is an existing demand for, such as cruises, honeymoons
or family vacations. That’s what you will want to promote on your website.
You'll also learn how easy and profitable it is to start selling our products online
without spending a dime on inventory. This strategy is one of the quickest ways
to start making sales immediately!
Q: Is there a start-up fee?
A: Yes, IWV has a fee of $99 to start your own home business.
This fee puts you into our system and includes your training materials,
your own website and access to on-line marketing tools.
Q: How do I pay my start-up fee?
A: You can pay your registration fee either by check, money order
or ACH Transaction.
Q: Are there any annual or monthly fees?
A: There are no annual renewal fees. There is a Monthly License
of $39.99 to cover the cost of maintaining your personal website and standard on-going
training. This is paid via an ACH Transaction (a paperless electronic payment).
Click here to “Get the Facts” on paying it green on our environment put out by:

s
Q: Are there any other costs that I need to be aware of?
A: No, there are no hidden costs charged to you when you join,
although you will incur your own expenses to manage your home-based business like
insurance. IWV will offer you supplies such as business cards, envelopes and letterhead
at a competitive price.
Q: Please give me an overview of the IWV Compensation
Plan.
A: Our program is set up for those who are serious about earning
money and building a home-based travel business, full or part-time. We pay unprecedented
overall HIGHER commissions than many in the travel industry today! Our plan is referred
to as the IWV Two-Step Compensation Plan.
This “Two-Step Compensation Plan” was designed to maximize earnings on personal
sales and also to allow an Independent Representative (IR) to be paid from the efforts
of others (team sales), as follows:
Step One is IR Commission: Commission and Vacation
Credits paid to an IR for travel sales. An IR may choose to participate in Step
One only and not become a Team Leader as discussed in Step Two.
Step Two (Dynamic Networking) is Team Leader
Commission: Commission and Vacation Credits earned from the efforts
of your Team Members. See Two Step Compensation
Progam. This is an override commission paid to you by IWV. You are never
paid a fee for recruiting someone into the IWV System. NOTE: The
difference between this and multi-level marketing is that there is only one level.
If one of your Team Members recruits someone, they become a Team Leader and they
earn the commissions from their own Team. When they become a Team Leader, you will
still receive the override commission on their sales, but not on the sales of their
Team. The Commission paid in Step One is equal or superior to anything currently
being offered by other major home-based travel companies (refer to Why We’re Better
on the IWV website). In addition, Step Two allows an IR to earn income from the
efforts of others, by recruiting IRs and working to ensure they remain motivated
to perform. By being a Team Leader, an IR will earn significantly more, as shown
in this example

TOTAL EARNINGS-CASH AND VACATION CREDITS $2,311.22
THE ABOVE INCLUDE SOME EXAMPLES OF HOW THE INTERNATIONAL WORLD OF VACATIONS (IWV)
COMPENSATION PROGRAM WORKS. IT DOES NOT REPRESENT THAT EVERY INDIVIDUAL, OR ANY
SPECIFIC OR AVERAGE EARNINGS WAS USED FOR THE EXAMPLES SET ABOVE. IF, HOWEVER, THE
INDIVIDUAL DOES GENERATE THE VOLUME SHOWN, THEY WILL RECEIVE THE EARNINGS INDICATED
ABOVE PROVIDED THAT HE/SHE IS NOT IN DEFAULT OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BEING
AN INDEPENDENT REPRESENTATIVE FOR IWV.
Q: Should I start building a team of other IWV Independent
Representatives?
A: This is how to really start building your business and earning
RESIDUAL INCOME. As J. Paul Getty said, “I would rather do 1% of 100 people’s effort
rather than 100% of my own”! The very first thing that you should do when joining
IWV is to start a list of contacts: people that you know and do business with who
would be interested in both purchasing travel and becoming a part of our great business
opportunity. Please refer to The
Only Way to Wealth.
Q: What if I do not want to develop a team? What if I just
want to sell vacations myself?
A: That is your choice. You will receive the commissions in Step
One as all IRs do.
Q: What is Super Bonus Program?
A: An independent Representative will be eligible to receive individual
and Team Super Bonus annually,
based on total sales.
Q: How quickly will I begin earning money?
A: Provided an IR makes two travel bookings and recruits two other
IRs within 30 days of sign up, IWV will reward him or her with an incentive designated
as a Fast Start Bonus as outlined in the "Terms and Conditions"
on the IWV website. The possibility of earning a Fast Start Bonus expires after
the first 30 days from the original signup date. This incentive program may be amended
or discontinued at any time at the sole discretion of IWV.
Q: When will I get paid on my travel sales?
A: IWV earns Company Commissions from our travel
partners on travel products sold and pays the IR commissions and Vacation Credit
Bonuses. The IR Commission will be paid on the 20th of the month
following the completion of travel and IWV’s receipt of the Company Commission.
If the 20th falls on a weekend, the check will be issued on the previous Friday.
Payments will only be issued to the individual or entity registered with IWV.
Q: Do I earn commissions on air?
A: Most airlines do not pay commission, but IWV does share service
fees with IRs. If an airfare is commissionable to IWV, then you will receive IR
commission.
Q: How will I know how much commission I earn?
A: IWV pays up to 80% in commission, including Vacation Credits
and bonuses. See Two Step Compensation Program
Q: Can I earn money on the travel product purchases that
I personally make?
A: Of course! As long as your purchase is processed through IWV’s
website, you will receive compensation for any commissionable sale.
Q: Do I need an accountant?
A: There are so many variables to that question. You must report
your commissions, as you normally would account for any income that you earned throughout
the year. You may consider hiring a tax professional to prepare your year-end tax
filings. IWV will send you the IRS required form at the end of the year.
Q: Will I receive tax benefits?
A: As an Independent Representative, you are now in business for
yourself. The IRS allows self-employed people to deduct ordinary and customary business
expenses such as your hardware and office furniture purchases, advertising, business
travel etc. if they fall under certain guidelines. We recommend that you talk with
your tax advisor about your specific situation.
Q: How does IWV track my commissions?
A: Since all sales are processed through the IWV booking engine,
record keeping of your commissions is all done electronically. Working with our
travel product providers, we have designed a program that will provide ongoing reports.
This program allows us to track your commissions and send an accurate accounting
to your personal page in the Resource Center of the IWV website.
Q: What other expenses do I have while operating my own
business?
A: As a home-based travel business there is very little overhead.
You will have the basic expenses that any business would incur such as tax advisor
fees, mailing, marketing and advertising, office supplies and software, utilities
and phone charges. You will also have to maintain an Internet service and e-mail.
Q: How do I find out if a commission came in for one of
my bookings?
A: You can go to the Resource Center on the IWV website and check
on the status of your commissions and Vacation Credits. These are applied to your
online account when IWV receives commissions.
Q: What if I sell a vacation to a client and receive a
commission from that sale, then the client decides to book with IWV directly without
my knowledge or involvement for his or her next vacation?
A: Once they are established in our system as your client, you
will receive the residual income on the client for as long as you are an active
IR in good standing with IWV. The exception to this would be if the client requested
another IR to handle their travel requirements
.
Q: How does your amazing Vacation Credit Bonus Program
work?
A: We are the only travel company to offer this benefit! Our Vacation
Credit Bonus Program is set up so you can go on your own grand getaway! Vacation
Credits are credited to an IR’s Vacation Credit Bonus bank account at the time a
travel commission is received and processed at IWV. These can be used when an IR
has been with the company a minimum of 90 days, is paid in full, current on all
fees and in good standing. A Vacation Credit is equivalent to $1 (one U.S. dollar).
For more specific information on this program please go to
Vacation Credit Bonus Program.
Q: Can I redeem my Vacation Credits for cash?
A: No. Vacation Credits have no cash value and may not be redeemed
for cash. For details, please refer to Vacation Credit Bonus Program on the IWV
website..
Q: How can I market my business with a tight budget?
A: Of course, maintaining a reasonable advertising budget is essential.
However, even with the tightest budget, we will assist you with a series of Press
Releases that have been Company approved and professionally written. You can send
these releases to the local media in your area.
Q: I know that television is the most powerful advertising
medium. How can you help with television?
A:. IWV offers professionally produced television and radio spots
at a very low price. IWV can also help by offering very reasonable pricing on a
broad range of customized marketing tools. These marketing tools are solely focused
on providing entrepreneurs with high-quality, ethical tools and the information
you will need to effectively market and promote your own home-based business.
Q: I have my own marketing campaign that I want to implement
to promote my home-based business. Can you help with Co-op support?
A: IWV may be able to assist you by offsetting your marketing costs
with co-op advertising assistance. Marketing campaigns can be developed with our
existing product suppliers. If approved and accepted by IWV the savings could be
up to 50% of the total cost of your advertising! Contact us at
http://www.iwvnet.com/contactus with your marketing plan. We will have one
of our representatives contact both you and our suppliers to see if they can offer
Co-op support on your plan.
Q: Can I call and ask questions before I make a reservation?
A: Support Center Administrators and Team Leaders are there to
help you, or simply call the reservation department of the Travel Supplier you are
working with. Our Travel Partners have a staff of very seasoned professionals who
can help you with your reservations before, during or after your client travels
Q: What happens if a client has a problem and needs assistance
with a booking I made for them?
A: They should call you first and ask for your help in
making changes or additions to their vacation. However, if it is an emergency or
after regular business hours, they will be directed to call 1 866 498-6388. This
is a toll free line for their convenience.
Q: What other assistance do you offer to help me service
and grow my business?
A: When you become an IWV Independent Representative, you will
receive an IR Kit containing training materials. You will be trained on the use
of the IWV booking system and study materials will be provided so you can familiarize
yourself with our Travel Partners. In addition, you will have the opportunity to
meet with our suppliers online and possibly in person, who will offer training and
assist you in growing your business .
Q: How can I view my sales activity and commission?
A: Upon being accepted into the IWV program, you will be given
a login and password to access your personal business information on the IWV website.
This information is available in the Resource Center.
Q: Is this reporting tool 24/7?
A: Yes. You can access your information at anytime
Q: Still have questions?
A: Contact Us and
we’ll respond as quickly as our workload permits. If you would like immediate assistance,
you may choose to use our live chat support (see box at left), or you can call us
with any questions toll free (from the US) at 1-866-498-6388.
