Summary of Independent Review and Comparison of Home-Based Travel Companies:

This review turned out to be much more involved than other reviews. Home-based travel has many more income-producing opportunities for an individual than other businesses. Usually, we knew what we were reviewing. Who can’t judge data backup software, or how well a razor works. They do not require much research, just testing. The first thing we did was go to multiple travel sources and travel industry publications on the subject. We gathered the basics and history of it and discovered travel is also the largest industry in the world creating a tremendous home-based business opportunity.
  
We carefully researched the top travel companies for comparison. Then we researched the best home-based travel companies to see if what they claimed they offered and what they really offered was true. What we found was that most had stipulations that you were not aware of upon joining. Unless you had the knowledge and asked specific questions in regard to these hidden claims, you would never know they existed until after you joined. The area where the most discrepancies were found was commissions-earned. However, IWV is the clear leader and pays their Independent Representatives on commission earned, which can be as high as 25% of the basic travel package. Some host travel companies on the other hand may earn the same 25%, but only pay their representatives on a commission cap. In other words, they claim to pay 100% commission, but only pay on a cap of 10%.

Example:

VALUE OF TRAVEL PACKAGE IS $1,000 AND 25% COMMISSION IS $250
XYZ TRAVEL PAYS 100% BASED ON A CAP OF 10% ($100) & PAYS $100.
IWV PAYS UP TO 80% OF COMMISSION EARNED ($250) & PAYS $200.

The bottom line is that 80% of 25% is more than 100% of 10%.

The result of our testing showed two clear leaders. One company in particular stood out in this report – International World of Vacations. International World of Vacations has a higher signup fee than most, but did not require their monthly license fee to be paid a year in advance like many others. In addition, International World of Vacations does not pay you to bring someone into their program, but pays solely on travel sales made by an individual brought into the organization. This involves more time to build immediate income, but includes residuals that are not a factor in paying someone else for joining a home-based program which could offset their one-time signup fee. This company is overall the one we would personally choose because it was far superior to the second choice. We were very impressed with IWV’s “Two-Step Compensation Program” that offers unlimited earning potential as outlined in "The Only Way to Wealth” on their website. This explains the power of having multiple income streams through a Dynamic Marketing System. We further researched the details of a Dynamic Marketing System and determined it is NOT Network Marketing or Multi-Level Marketing in our opinion. The main differentiating factor here is that it only goes down one-level so you can see (in turn know) how you are getting paid unlike some Network Marketing or MLM programs. The home-based representative’s earnings can increase exponentially with this program because is not solely based on their individual performance. A successful independent business still can be run without involving other streams. Also, with the IWV program, we all personally liked that IWV representatives receive bonuses in vacation credits, giving you the ability to earn free vacations upon being a part their program. This was a feature that added value to the complete package IWV offers.

Some home-based travel companies were of questionable value and some provided flat out bad information. For the Help/Support rating, we e-mailed and called each of the companies asking simple questions about the basics of the opportunity they were presenting. The result was based in part on whether or not they responded within 48 hours and if they answered the question when they did respond. After extensive due diligence, the above comparison chart lists the results of our findings.
